Within the ERASMUS+ program, the kick-off meeting of the partner organisations of the INPROFUTURE project (“Mapping of SME Digital Transformation – Industry Professionals Future Education”) was organized under the auspices of the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) in Bratislava on 23-24 March 2022.
The INPROFURURE project focuses on the future education of adult employees in industry in the field of digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It builds on existing practice at national level and is at the same time inspired by the European Commission’s proposal to create a “digital compass” to measure the digital capabilities of SMEs and their employees by 2030.
Digitalisation in the SME environment often fails due to a lack of insight and experience of how digital technologies can support production, logistics and market access. Employees lack the digital skills to support the transformation process and think about how their company can operate more efficiently and with fewer resources. For all SMEs, a transformation process that is linked to motivating employees and preparing them to use digital tools and solutions is important.
We worked on the project planning, timing, and workflow of the project development process to provide the best fit solution to our target group.
